The Museums of Western Colorado is honored to partner with Rocky Mountain PBS and the Utah Division of Arts & Museums to present Topaz Stories: Remembering the Japanese American Incarceration, a traveling exhibition exploring the experiences of Japanese Americans who were forcibly incarcerated during World War II.
Through personal stories, photographs, historical interpretation, and opportunities for reflection, Topaz Stories invites visitors to learn about this important chapter in American history while considering its lasting impact on our communities today. The exhibition also features locally relevant research and materials highlighting connections to western Colorado.
Admission to this special exhibition is free, and all are welcome.
