Museums of Western Colorado Invite Community to Final Revitalization Project Roundtable at Dinosaur Journey
Fruita, CO — The Museums of Western Colorado invite community members to participate in a final public Community Roundtable on Thursday, March 19 from 5:00–7:00 PM at Dinosaur Journey in Fruita. This free event offers an opportunity for residents to share their ideas and perspectives as the museum organization continues planning its Revitalization Project, an initiative focused on strengthening the museum experience and its connection to the community.
This final roundtable is part of a series of conversations designed to gather public feedback on the future of the Museums of Western Colorado and the role the museums play in preserving regional history, supporting education, and inspiring curiosity for future generations.
Participants will have the chance to join small group discussions and share thoughts about how the museums can continue to grow as vibrant cultural and educational resources for the Western Slope.
“We want to hear from our community,” shares Mollie Shepardson, Director of Development & Communications for the Museums of Western Colorado. “The museums belong to the people of Western Colorado, and community voices are essential as we plan for the future and explore new opportunities to strengthen the museum experience.”
The event will take place at Dinosaur Journey, located at 550 Jurassic Court in Fruita. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance to help organizers plan for seating and discussion groups.
Community members of all backgrounds are welcome, including families, educators, students, business leaders, and anyone interested in the future of museums in Western Colorado.
