Rebecca Petersen

Secretary of the Board

A transplant from San Diego, Rebecca graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a degree in public accounting in 2017 and has worked at Community Hospital since 2016 as a staff accountant. Her husband quit his job in 2022 to buy a manufacturing business, and Rebecca magnanimously does accounting for him as well. She is passionate about geology, paleontology, and horticulture and loves being involved with the Museum in any way possible. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gaming, jeeping, walking her dog, and petting other people’s dogs.
