Jannae Moon

Public Programs Manager

Jannae Moon has been involved in the education field for over 40 years. She taught third and fourth graders for 30 years in the Grand Valley. She also enjoyed her adventures working with children for 25 years at Moon Farm Day Camp where she was the co-director. She was on the board of directors with The Children’s Nature Center for two years. During this time, she created and led their summer programing. More recently, she co-managed the Moon Farm Pumpkin Patch and vacation rentals until the family sold the farm in 2021. At that time, Jannae authored a book entitled “Fruita’s Historic Moon Farm.” She has been with The Museums of Western Colorado since September of 2024 and is currently the Public Programs Manager.
