Join us for a stroll through time and trees inside our historic orchard as our horticulturist, Olivia Pollock, talks about the history of some of our valley’s most prominent fruit, and how our heritage shapes the modern agricultural landscape today. This tour is perfect for families, locals, and curious minds of all ages.

Explore historic Cross Orchards with curator, Matt Darling, as he brings the stories of Cross Orchards to life! Wander through the century-old barn, blacksmith shop, and historic structures while hearing about the fascinating history of agriculture in the Grand Valley. From the legendary Uintah Railway, the little narrow-gauge line that conquered impossible terrain, to the daily grit of early orchard life, Matt’s tours will blend expert knowledge with tales you won’t find on a label! This tour is perfect for families, locals, and curious minds of all ages.

All tours are free with purchased museum admission.
