Children’s Summer Day Camp Week 2: Paleo Training

Children’s Paleontologist Training: Dino Quarries & Fossils
Monday, June 8th through Friday, June 12th
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Dinosaur Journey Museum
Ages: 8-12 years old
Step into the boots of a real paleontologist at Dinosaur Journey’s Children’s Paleontology Training: Dino Quarries & Fossils Summer Camp! Campers will learn how scientists uncover the secrets of the past by studying fossils and ancient clues left behind millions of years ago. Young explorers will simulate excavation techniques, identify fossil replicas, and record their discoveries just like real field researchers.
Through observing real dig sites, casting fossils, and interactive
activities, campers will discover how bones are preserved, how dinosaurs are reconstructed, and how paleontologists piece together Earth’s prehistoric story.
