Can visitors see real dinosaur fossils being worked on?

Yes! At Dinosaur Journey, visitors can view our working paleontology lab, where staff and trained volunteers carefully clean, stabilize, and study real dinosaur fossils discovered at our quarry sites.

Through large viewing windows, you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the fossil preparation process—when volunteers are working in the lab. Because this work is done by our volunteer team, activity in the lab may vary depending on the day and schedule.
