Experience Overview

Join our paleontology team at the famous Mygatt-Moore Quarry, one of the richest dinosaur fossil sites in the American West.

Participants will help excavate fossils from the Jurassic Period while learning the real techniques paleontologists use in the field.

Fossils of Apatosaurus and Allosaurus are commonly discovered here, giving participants the chance to contribute to real scientific research.

This program is perfect for families, beginners, and first-time fossil hunters.

8:00 AM – Orientation at Dinosaur Journey Museum
8:30 AM – Depart for Mygatt-Moore Quarry in MWC Transport Vans
9:00 AM – Excavations begin
11:30 AM – Return to Dinosaur Journey
12:00 PM – Guided tour of the Paleo Lab
