Campers will learn how scientists uncover the secrets of the past by studying fossils and ancient clues left behind millions of years ago. Young explorers will simulate excavation techniques\, identify fossil replicas\, and record their discoveries just like real field researchers. \nThrough observing real dig sites\, casting fossils\, and interactive activities\, campers will discover how bones are preserved\, how dinosaurs are reconstructed\, and how paleontologists piece together Earth’s prehistoric story. \nWhat to Bring/Wear: \n\nGood shoes for walking — no flip-flops.\nClothes appropriate for the weather\, playing outside and doing crafts.\nArrive to camp with sunscreen on.\nPacked lunch\, snacks and a drink.\nWater bottle.\nHats and sunglasses.\nBackpack; it will be carried with them on days they cannot return to the classroom for lunch\n\n\n\n\n
